IUD and smoke

Had my "period" last week. It was pretty effing harmless. Some uncomofrtable cramping moments, but all and all not to bad when you think about where I came from. Around this time I am thinking of my horrible surgery I had a year ago from Dr. Greedy. I can't believe it has been almost a year since the day that forever changed my life. Seems like it was forever ago in some ways, and in other ways it seems like it was just yesterday. I think it is important to always remember the worst, so when it is good.. You know it's good. I thought by now I wouldn't be bleeding at all monthly, but least the IUD is working, and doing it's part. I have minimal cramps, and my stomach issues are so much better. My "period" even snuck up on me this month because I didn't have any pre-symptoms!!! Shocker! My bleeding is easily controllable with a pad & tampon, which is super awesome... Seems off but that's a huge improvement for me!!! My weight seems to have mellowed/evened out. Which is nice. I am holding steady at 133-135 which I am totally okay with. Did the IUD make me gain weight? Maybe... But I just tried to watch what I eat, and make sure I maintained a healthy lifestyle!! I am hoping that my body has adjusted for the most part to the IUD!!! While every month seems to be getting better and better, I hope it stays along this path!!

The smoke here is OUT OF CONTROL!!! It is unfortunately fire season, and in full force with all the thunderstorms we have had lately. My eyes have been bugging me, which is sort of scary. Reminds me of all my painful surgeries I have been through, and how desperately I don't want to go through them again. I pray every day that the chemo meds keep my body at rest. However I am sure this smoke is hurting everyone right now. I think we have more than 5 fires going at once right now, and the smoke is not only making me cough like crazy but also my eyes burn! Plus the headache is HORRIBLE! Fellow co-worker said he has had a headache & it makes me feel a little better, because I have had one all damn weekend! So frustrating. I hope they can get these fires out soon with little damage & for our air quality!!

Feeling better.. sort of

Feeling a little better... It comes and goes in waves. I am seriously starting to think it is hormone related.. included with some nasty ass allergies. I went out to the horse barn yesterday, and unfortunately the neighbor had just cut his hay, which was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long... The grass had gone to seed, and he was cutting it to late, so while I was riding my allergies kicked into full gear!!! I am thinking that my IUD is starting to find it's place in my body well. My spotting/bleeding only occurs once a month, and I cant remember the last time I was spotting, so that is good. The cramping is pretty mild and rarely occurs. I had some minor cramping last night, which makes me think hormonally my body is going through some changes... Been almost 9 months, and I am happy I got an IUD ;-) I am excited to see every month that goes by, as it seems to get better and better. Had some minor flaring of my bladder issues, but I think that's because Cystex, which works WONDERS for me, I had ran out, and went a few days without taking it.. I think its a good product for me to keep my bladder and related parts calmed down. My hubbie and I had sex, and I was out of them, so I think some of the inflammation came from that. I am not to worried about it :-)

Allergies

This has been all over the news today, and while today is my birthday, I will make this short. I am happy that American is starting to realize that the "American diet" is in no way healthy or making our bodies happy. Most of the food we eat today, isn't even really food. Of course people have allergies, with all the crap in our food today, who wouldn't?!?!?

So I say with great pleasure. I am Happy that America mighttttttttttttttt be starting to recognize helping INSTEAD of harming our youth!!!

Soy & Dark Blood...

I was on vacation for the last 6 days, and it was AWESOME! Sure I had moments where I didn't feel good, but for the most part my body held out for some serious partying with family & friends, and the Lake. I had a massive headache the last day of the trip, but I think to much fun could of caused that....

So while I was on vacation, I eat pretty much only the following:
Gluten-Free Muffins for breakfast
Fagel & turkey for lunch with some chips
Fagel with Turkey hot dog for dinner
I didn't once eat anything I wasn't suppose to. I was SO GOOD! So proud of myself. It is so easy when you are drinking to lose your willpower and just say fuck it, but I didn't & I wanted to stay healthy and happy for the whole trip, which I succeeded. The last day my hubbie was feeling it to, so the last night we hung out together on top of the boat <3 Love that guy man. Anyways, so on our way back, we all decided that we wanted yummy Chinese food. Which as you know, is loaded with soy which I always tried to avoid in large quantities but never thought about small and if they might affect me. So we ate yummy Chinese, and within 1 hour, I was bleeding (which was almost gone during Lake trip) and in pain. During the trip I was thinking how amazing my IUD is working out for me right now, and I am starting to notice good things... Later on that night, my hands & feet starting itching like crazy. It was awful. The next day I felt SO NAUSEATED like I was getting a stomach flu. I am trying to think of the major difference in what I ate, and it is soy. I am debating starting this weekend, maybe cutting out soy completely for a week or so, and seeing if it is another allergy causing food in my body?~!?!? I know right. ANOTHER fucking thing I can't eat, but seriously I noticed such a difference after I ate this one thing, and after feeling amazing the whole trip and drive home, it makes me think. The whole trip I was able to wear a tampon and THAT'S IT!!! Weird. I hardly had any bleeding, and was completely as ease with the whole thing. Than BAM stomach flu symptoms & dark bleeding. Now I am wondering if maybe, just maybe, soy might be the one component I a missing... Weird. I don't know, I have to think about it, it just adds yet ANOTHER thing I cant eat. But I need to do some research on Soy & possible allergy affects. Till than..... research bitches.

Allergy Season!

CAN'T STOP SNEEZING TODAY!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Allergies season is upon us, and here in my town they are awful. I can't stop sneezing today. My eyes have been mildly burning the last last few days which always concerns me for obvious reason, but lately after reading my friend's facebook updates I am finding out that it isn't just me, and people are having severe allergy attacks every where and mine are nothing. It rained yesterday, well and snowed.. My allergies are triggered by mold. When  it rains, the mold spores are activated and I can't stop sneezing!!!! It's an old allergy, it isn't like I am allergic to pollen or grass, but it's the mold. It was a killer when I use to live in the valley and went to college!

Busted out an old school (well from 2009) Jillian Michaels yesterday. I had some extra time to work out so I used it for her 45ish min video. Got it last year, and never tried it. I always stuck with her 30 Day shred. Let me tell you, I am sore in places today that I didn't know could hurt! You rock it Jillian. We never picked up a weight once in this video, she teaches with body weight & man I was gargling my heart at the end! Jillian would of been so proud! It for sure is rocking video and toughie man! I have Chakru yoga today, which should help the stiffness but also work me out even harder!!! Super excited!!! Hoping Miss P didn't attend another boot camp this weekend LOL

It changed my life for the better...

About 2ish years ago, I started to do some research on inflammatory foods... And starting to realize how much this possibility could be an allergy that could be affecting me. I cut out potatoes, tomatoes and peppers and I noticed that my pelvic pain had not only decreased, but I lost some weight around my belly. Now if I slip up and eat even one french fry or potato product, my bladder flares up, my stomach hurts and I cant even begin to explain the extreme reaction I have to this... Crazy how scary it was when I thought of cutting out nightshade family, but I wouldn't change it for the world...This is a common allergy, but also a greatly over-looked allergy. Something to look into and try Hey after all, what could it hurt?

What is nightshade family all about?
